Key Responsibilities:
As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Organization and supervision of all accounting activities including posting, reconciliations and preparation of financial statements
- Organization and management of the accounting team and ensuring timely and accurate performance of all accounting tasks
- Monitoring compliance with applicable accounting standards and legal regulations
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting (monthly reporting to Group and Country managers, ESG reports etc.)
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, including balance sheets, P&L and cash flow statements for Group purposes
- Correspondence and active cooperation with auditors, tax advisors, tax administration and other external partners
- Developing, implementing and maintaining financial models for budgeting and forecasting
- Coordination of preparation of annual financial plans and preparation of monthly profitability analyses
- Conducting ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and utilizing operational information
- Additional financial duties as necessary and by order of the employer
Necessary Skills:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- University degree in economics with a focus on finance and accounting
- Several years of relevant professional experience desired, ideally in an internationally operating company
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Quick comprehension and process understanding
- Independent, detail-oriented, and reliable work style
- Good communication skills and team spirit
- Orientation towards results, confidentiality and trustworthiness
- Very good English skills
